Cell Phones

Cell phone calls may be made in designated areas. These areas include all stairwells.

Dogs and other Pets

For the safety and comfort of all who use the facility, only service animals, defined as those that are individually trained to perform tasks for people with disabilities, are allowed in the library building.

Food and Drink

Food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted in the library. We ask that you clean up after yourself and please be considerate of those around you while you eat.

Guest Use

Guests of the library (meaning any library users who are not students, faculty, or staff of Wake Forest University) are welcome to use the library services and public spaces during the hours that the library is open except between midnight and 8:00AM when the library is on a 24-hour schedule. In order to maximize the resources of the library for Wake Forest affiliates, guests – including those who have purchased guest library cards or are participants in the TALA program – may be requested to leave the library after midnight. This restriction is more likely to be implemented toward the end of the semester when study space on campus is at a premium.

Quiet Zones

Levels 6, 7, & 8 are designated for silent study.

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited in the library.
