Library Borrower Cards

The library's main stack collection is open to the general public for research and photocopying. Access to government documents, reference, periodicals, the online catalog and special collections is also included.

Restrictions apply to borrowing, and fees may be charged. In order to borrow materials a patron must have a machine-readable, nontransferable Wake Forest University library card. The privileges of individual patrons depend upon the patrons' status with the library. To see these privileges, choose a patron category from the following list:

Wake Forest University Faculty

Wake Forest University Adjunct Faculty

Wake Forest University Graduate Students

Wake Forest University Undergraduate Students

Wake Forest University Class Auditors

Salem College Students Registered for Courses at WFU

Wake Forest University Staff

Spouses, Domestic Partners, and Children of WFU Faculty, Staff and Students

Members of the WFU Board of Trustees and the Board of Visitors

Retired Wake Forest University Faculty and Staff

Wake Forest University Alumni

Wake Forest University School of Medicine

Faculty at Other Triad Academic Institutions

Residents of the Community with Research Needs who are Unaffiliated with an Academic Institution

Corporations or Area Organizations

Non-university patrons, with or without valid library cards, do not have access to the following services:
