Room Use Policy
The Z. Smith Reynolds Library encourages and promotes the use of its facilities by providing classroom and meeting room space. When the library's meeting rooms are not being used for library-related programs, the rooms are available for use by the WFU community. These rooms are primarily used for:
- Library instruction
- Technology training
- Professional library seminars/workshops
- Library committee and staff meetings
- Visiting speakers as part of the library lecture series
Guidelines
- Needs of the library take precedence over other WFU groups, and the library reserves the right to restrict access to these rooms.
- Rooms are not available for semester-long scheduling of meetings or courses or for multiple meetings of scheduled academic classes.
- WFU groups may not book rooms more than three weeks in advance.
- Classroom and meeting rooms are not available for use during times when the library is closed.
- Technical assistance is available during normal business hours when support staff are available or by special request in advance of the event.
- Persons using classrooms and meeting rooms in the library must ensure that the rooms are left as originally set up and that the rooms are tidied and cleaned after the event.
- Food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted in the library. We ask that you clean up after yourself and please be considerate of those around you while you eat.
