As of Monday, May 12, 2008, Current Periodicals are now located on Wilson 4 in the Reference area.
About Current Periodicals
Current Periodicals is responsible for housing the Library's current print subscriptions to journals, magazines, and newspapers. The Z. Smith Reynolds Library currently subscribes to approximately 3,000 individual print titles. The periodicals are arranged in call number order; consult the online catalog for exact locations and holdings. Current periodicals are available all the hours the library is open.
Current issues of journals published by the U.S. Government are housed in Government Documents, and a few book review journals are housed in the Reference Department. Current issues of Psychology journals are housed in the Psychology Department (Winston Hall). Volumes of some science journals (both current and bound) are housed in Salem Hall (Chemistry) or Olin Hall (Physics). Approximately 35 current North Carolina, U.S., and international newspapers are also shelved alphabetically in the room.
