Preservation
About Preservation
Preservation is located in the west wing of the Reynolds Wing of the Z. Smith Reynolds Library, Room 329. Preservation hours are: 8:30-5:00 Monday - Friday. The Preservation Department repairs and protects materials in the library General Collection and in Special Collections.
The primary goal of Preservation is to repair damaged books or materials (see examples) in the library collection and return them to circulation as quickly as possible. If a damaged book is found, please bring it to the Circulation Desk or Preservation - Room 329, West Reynolds Wing.
