• Analytical WebBase

  Covers the literature of analytical chemistry. In addition to journal articles, the database includes equipment manufacturers' application notes, standards and books. Coverage: 1978-.

• PubMed

  PubMed provides access to MEDLINE, a database of citations covering the fields of medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, and preclinical sciences. Other services within PubMed include the Journal Browser, MeSH (Medical Subject Heading) Browser, Citation Matcher, and Clinical Queries. A user-friendly online tutorial is available at the site. PubMed also provides access to molecular biology databases in the National Center for Biotechnology Information s (NCBI) Entrez retrieval system with components for searching DNA and protein sequences, 3-D protein structure data, population study data sets, and assemblies of complete genomes. • Science Citation Index

  A multidisciplinary index, with searchable author abstracts, covering the journal literature of the sciences. It indexes more than 5,700 major journals across 164 scientific disciplines, covering approximately 2,100 more journals than its SCI print and CD-ROM counterparts, with all cited references captured. Some of the disciplines covered include: agriculture, neuroscience, astronomy, oncology, biochemistry, pediatrics, biology, pharmacology, biotechnology, physics, chemistry, plant sciences, computer science, psychiatry, materials science, surgery, mathematics, veterinary science, medicine, and zoology.   Web version of SciFinder Scholar, Chemical Abstracts Service's database of literature from many scientific disciplines including chemistry, biomedical sciences, materials science, environmental science, and more. Also covers patent literature, compound, and reaction information. Available to current WFU students, faculty, and staff only. Coverage: 1907-.

• CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics

  An authoritative reference source containing physical formulas and mathematical tables used in labs every day. Includes all the figures, data, and tables found in the print version.

• Encyclopedia of Reagents for Organic Synthesis

  Systematic and exhaustive coverage of reagents used in organic synthesis. The database lists reactions and the most frequently consulted reagents and catalysts. Searchable by structure and substructure, reagent, reaction type and experimental conditions, etc.
