Babcock Residence Hall

A short walk across a mini-quad from Luter Hall, one will find Babcock Residence Hall. This dorm was dedicated in 1962 in honor of Mary Reynolds Babcock, wife of Charles H. Babcock. This couple is tremendously responsible for bringing this school to Winston-Salem as they were the ones who gave land to Wake for the new campus. The Mary Reynolds Babcock Foundation has continued the tradition of making generous donations to Wake Forest University so a dorm named after her is extremely fitting and deserving. This co-ed facility is very similar to Luter Hall in terms of layout and amenities and is an equally grand place to live. It is different than Luter Hall in that it houses upperclassmen as well as freshmen.
