However, for free, you get solid, basic information. Use the calculator to track your investments and the costs associated with them or the Fund Selector to choose a fund.

A great site if you want to know how much your fund is costing you. It includes information on similar funds with lower fees and "helps you analyze whether you save any money by selling your shares and replacing them with others."

Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)
The SEC site includes a Mutual Fund Cost Calculator that "enables investors to easily estimate and compare the costs of owning mutual funds." Use this only if you know LOTS of details about the fund.
