Finding Books

Use the Online Catalog to locate books and other materials in Reynolds Library. Search by Author, Title, Subject, or Keyword. Keep in mind that you may get better results using "Motion Pictures" instead of "film" or "movie" in your searches.

Sample Searches for Guided Keyword Tab

For a list of subject headings, on the Basic Search Tab select Subject Heading and search for "motion pictures". Click the yellow See Also icon to the left of the first result on the screen to see a list of LC Subject Headings having to do with film.

Locating Journals in the Library

Some databases only provide you with a citation for an article, not full-text. To see if we have the article full text in another database, look for the WFU Full-text options icon in the database or use Find a Journal to search for the title you need. You will be shown availability in both print and electronic formats.
