Reciprocal Faculty Borrowing
Faculty members of institutions participating in the Research Libraries Advisory Committee to OCLC have borrowing privileges and on-site access to the collections of some of the most important research libraries in North America.
Wake Forest University participates in this program. WFU Faculty members intending to visit a participating library should ask Reference Department staff for contact information and should contact the participating library in advance to verify the institution’s policies. Check this list of OCLC Reciprocal Faculty Borrowing Program Participants, maintained by the University of Chicago, to determine if a particular institution is a participant. It is the responsibility of the faculty member to observe these regulations and to obtain any verification required by the institution to be visited.
Reciprocal Faculty Borrowing Program cards are available at Circulation. Additional identification may be required by the library being visited.
Faculty visiting Z. Smith Reynolds Library from other institutions will need to:
- Present card and verification of faculty status to the Circulation Department.

- Notify the Circulation Department when returning to home institution.
