About the Stacks
The Z. Smith Reynolds Library stacks are open for browsing and are accessed by stairways and three elevators. Stack Guides are posted on almost all levels of the building and miniature handout versions are available at the Circulation and Reference Desks.
When consulting, but not borrowing materials from the stacks, please do not reshelve. The library keeps statistics on materials used in the building but not checked out by counting materials picked up from red shelves, study tables, copier areas, etc.
