TALA Library Privileges
The member libraries of the Triad Academic Library Association have entered into a borrowing agreement with all other TALA libraries, enabling students, faculty, and staff in good standing at their home institutions to borrow from other participating libraries. Lending privileges vary by institution.
The agreement allows for students, faculty, and staff from each institution to borrow in person from the other institutions, and is a complement to Interlibrary Loan when students, faculty, and staff want to borrow from those collections but have little time and their own transportation! The borrowed material also needs to be returned to the library that owns it; see participating libraries’ addresses.
Before going to a participating institution, please contact that institution to verify your eligibility to gain access to what you seek at the library you plan to visit.
