Semester Online courses are online courses offered through a consortium of universities. Wake Forest students may enroll in Semester Online courses following the guidelines set by the College. Wake Forest faculty may teach Semester Online courses, and non-WFU students may be enrolled in those courses. This page outlines library services for faculty and students for Semester Online courses.

For problems with your Wake Forest ID or password, please contact IS Help Desk at 336-758-4357 (HELP). For enrollment information or grades, please contact the Registrar’s Office.

For WFU Faculty

The Z. Smith Reynolds Library provides most of the same services to WFU faculty teaching Semester Online courses as we do for those teaching on the Reynolda campus. If you are teaching a Semester Online course, the following will be available to you and the students enrolled in your course(s).

The Z. Smith Reynolds Library cannot provide access to print collections for students from other universities who are enrolled in Semester Online courses. If you would like to use materials from our Rare Books or Archives collections in your Semester Online course, please consult with your subject librarian.

For WFU Students

If you are a Wake Forest student taking a Semester Online course, the following services are available to you:

For Non-WFU Students

The Z. Smith Reynolds Library provides many services for students from other universities who are enrolled in a Semester Online course hosted and taught by Wake Forest faculty. For the semester you are enrolled in a WFU-hosted Semester Online course, these services from the Z. Smith Reynolds Library will be available to you:

Semester Online students enrolled at other universities should use their home university library for checking out books, borrowing materials on Interlibrary Loan, and other research assistance.
