The multimedia lab is equipped with a variety of high-end computer and video equipment.
- 4 flatbed scanners (1 feed scanner) for scanning text, images, and slides
- 2 video editing stations
- 1 VHS to DVD dubbing station
- 1 cassette to digital audio recording station
- A variety of multimedia software
- Various other equipment

Capabilities
Possible applications for the multimedia lab equipment are:
- Scanning photographs or pictures
- Viewing CD-ROM programs
- Non-linear editing
- Digitization of sound and/or images
- Creating Web pages
- Importing images into computer graphics programs
- Capturing still images from VHS tape
Multimedia Instruction
The staff will assist patrons with multimedia projects, as time allows. The Bridge will provide lab users with tutorial material and other helpful information for using the lab equipment and computer software. Faculty and students interested in creating learning materials for classroom use or to supplement classroom instruction are encouraged to contact the Multimedia & Digital Production Services Coordinator.
