About Systems
The Z. Smith Reynolds Systems Department supports the computer systems and networks of the library. It is part of the Library Information Technology Team.
Specific areas of responsibility include:
- All aspects of managing the Voyager integrated library system
- Administration of all functional modules: circulation, reserves, cataloging, acquisitions, serials, and reports
- Develop programs that permit exchange of data between Voyager and other systems
- Library computing
- Desktop computers and monitors
- Public Access Catalog computers
- Local and network printers
- Barcode readers
- Application software

- Supplemental technical support for the library CD-ROM servers
