Taylor Residence Hall

Named after Wake Forest’s 6th President Charles E. Taylor who served from 1884 to 1905, this suite-style living facility also houses the book and textbook store as well as the university barber shop. Taylor’s administration was a time of expansion with the additions of the School of Law (1894) and School of Medicine (1902). President Taylor was a big proponent of campus beautification which translated to the school’s new location in Winston-Salem. The suite style of the hall as well as the lounge spaces greatly enhance the living quality of the residents making it a much sought after choice for upperclassmen.
