How To Request Off-Site Storage Materials
Transcript
How to request an item from the off-site storage facility. The library currently has 90,000 volumes stored in an off-site location. To access these materials, go into the library's online catalog at catalog.zsr.wfu.edu and bring up the record for the item you wish to retrieve from off-site storage. At the top of this record page click on the link titled 'Request Hold/Recall.' From here, you'll need to enter 1 plus your Wake Forest ID card number, your last name and click 'Login.' Next, from the drop down menu, you'll need to select 'Retrieve from Off-Site' and then click 'OK.' For journals you'll need to next select the volume and issue you would like to retrieve. You can do this by either selecting it from the drop-down menu or by inputting the information in these three fields. Finally, you'll need to enter your ID number again, scroll down and select 'Submit Request.' Off-site materials are delivered Monday through Friday between 1:00 and 3:00pm. Once the materials are delivered and processed, you will receive an email notifying you that you may pick up your materials at the circulation desk. If you have any questions, please contact a librarian at zsr.wfu.edu/ask
