Digitization Requests

for WFU Faculty & Staff

The Digital Production Lab is part of Special Collections & Archives (SCA), and works closely with the Digital Initiatives & Scholarly Communications (DISC) team. The Digital Production Lab specializes in the digitization of flat media (ex. books, documents, photographs, film negatives).

Requests for digitization of materials from Wake Forest University staff and faculty is evaluated on a case by case basis. We reserve the right to decline any digitization request. If items requested for digitization are already available online, we strongly encourage you to utilize those materials. You must provide permission from the copyright owner of materials requested to be digitized if these items are not within the public domain.

* If your request involves a sizable amount of materials, or if you are interested in partnering with DISC for digitization of work, please contact Melde Rutledge, Digital Collections Librarian. We can prepare a project proposal, which is then evaluated by our Digitization Committee for approval.
