Frequently Used Collections

  • Religion in North Carolina – The Religion in North Carolina Digital Collection, a collaborative project of Duke University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Wake Forest University, seeks to bring together, preserve, and provide digital access to the primary materials of religious bodies in North Carolina. The digital archive will include over 8,000 items. In addition to the materials digitized from the collections of the three partner institutions, the project will also include resources from dozens of other repositories from every county in the state. The collection includes many types of research materials, such as local church histories, conference proceedings, meeting minutes, clergy biographies, cookbooks, denominational newspapers, and sermons.
