Bostwick Residence Hall

The mirror image of Johnson Hall, Bostwick Hall is a dorm designated for first year students and like Johnson, originally housed only women. This facility is named after Jabez Bostwick, a Standard Oil official and “one of Wake Forest’s most important benefactors.” There is also a Bostwick Hall still standing on the old campus in Wake Forest, N.C. This co-ed dorm is also hall-style with a formal parlor that is described as being “an ideal place to study and socialize.” It has multiple study lounges and a spacious sunroof. Bostwick Hall and Johnson Hall are connected by a tunnel, called “Vegas”, that has been closed off for years.
