Porter B. Byrum Welcome Center

Porter Byrum graduated from Wake Forest College in 1942, and went on to become a successful lawyer and businessman. Winner of the 2010 Distinguished Alumni Award, Byrum gave over $120 million to Wake Forest, all for student scholarships. In 2006, he received the Law School’s highest honor, the Carroll Weathers Award. The welcome center is the starting place for campus tours and the auditorium hosts many admissions events.
