Wellbeing Center

The Wake Forest Wellbeing Center encompasses the very heart of student activity and health on campus. This holistic complex began with the 1954-1956 construction of the Reynolds Gymnasium which is named after William Neal Reynolds, the brother of RJ Reynolds. Then in the late 2010s it underwent a series of expansions funded by $60 million in donations from the Wake Will Lead campaign and completely re-opened in 2018. Now the second largest building on campus, the facilities include a state-of-the-art 8 lane pool, basketball courts, weight rooms, a rock climbing wall, and the varsity volleyball home court which seats 1,500. Additionally, the Wellness Center is the home of student resources such as Deacon Health Center, the Office of Wellbeing, and the Sutton Center (a left wing expansion named after Alumnus Ben Sutton).
