Winston Hall
Just across the street from Salem Hall is Winston Hall, the home of the biology department. Opened in 1961, Winston Hall was made possible by “the People, Businesses, and Foundations of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County.” The building was renovated in 1990, led by the efforts of the late Weston Hatfield, an influential trustee. The entrance hall is lined with sandstone estimated to be 180 million years old.
