- Chrome Workstations
- The Library offers two types of Chrome-based workstations. On Wilson 1 and in Reynolds elevator lobbies and stairwells, Chrome kiosks provides simple web access. In the Scholars Commons, Chrome workstations allow you login with to your WFU account or use guest access.
The Chrome workstations in the Scholars Commons allow you to use your laptop with our monitor. If you are working on a large spreadsheet, graphics, or anything else that just needs a little more screen space, you can plug in and the laptop and monitor will connect automatically. For recent (late 2016 and after) MacBooks and Dell XPS laptops, we recommend the USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 connector. An HDMI connector is also available. The Circulation Desk provides sets of adapters to plug other laptops into an HDMI connection.
