Huffman Residence Hall

Located on the upper Quad (Hearn Plaza) between Poteat Residence Hall and Wait Chapel, you will find Huffman Hall. This fine place to live is named after Frank O. Huffman, a 1901 graduate of Wake Forest College. Huffman was a leader in North Carolina furniture industry, and the money for the dorm’s construction was put forth by Mr. Huffman’s family members. Housing upperclassmen, this is a co-ed, hall style building. The small number of residents makes for tight relationships and an increased sense of community, something Wake Forest strives for amongst her students. The dorm has several study rooms and a large common area complete with couches and a TV allowing for a happy Sunday afternoon spent watching NFL games. The patio behind the dorm features a grill and tables that can be utilized and enjoyed on gloriously weathered evenings.
