Efird Residence Hall

J.B. Efird, from Charlotte, NC and founder of the Efird department store chain, donated money to Wake Forest College in 1953 which propelled the College forward in meeting the challenge gift from the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation. Located on Hearn Plaza, (aka “the Quad” and named after twelfth President of Wake Forest, Thomas K. Hearn) this dorm is a hall style facility with the ability to house 84 students.
