Salem Hall
Originally a building for all the natural sciences (physics, chemistry, and biology) Salem Hall opened in 1956 though at the time it was simply called the Science Building. It was renamed “Salem Hall” in 1961 when Winston Hall opened. Nowadays, chemistry classes can be found in Salem Hall. Here you will learn the fundamentals of chemistry and the chemical mechanisms that govern the way life functions. You’ll also learn how to apply what you learn in labs. Wake Forest prides itself on giving research opportunities to undergraduates (as well as graduate students) and Salem Hall is a great place to figure out how the world works on the atomic level.
