Worrell Professional Center

Just inside the University Parkway entrance to campus, the Worrell Professional Center primarily houses the Wake Forest University School of Law and the Professional Center Library. Since 2016, the west side of the building is now home to the Department of Health and Exercise Sciences labs and facilities. The groundbreaking ceremony took place in 1990 and the building was dedicated to the Worrells on April 3, 1993. Consistent supporters of Wake Forest, alumnus T. Eugene (40′) and Anne Worrell donated to this construction as well as other projects including the London Worrell House, and the Worrell Professorship of Anglo-American studies. In response to his generosity, Worrell is a life trustee at the university and received the Medallion of Merit in 2006. The building also hosted the Graduate School of Business until Farrell Hall opened in 2013.
