Worrell Professional Center
Just inside the University Parkway entrance to campus, this facility was dedicated on April 3, 1993 and houses the prestigious Wake Forest University School of Law. It also played host to the Graduate School of Business until Farrell Hall opened in 2013. The groundbreaking ceremony for the Center was held in 1990. T. Eugene and Anne Worrell put forth a large contribution to the construction hence the building bears their name. Designed for the 21st century, The Center features two wings, one for each of the departments it held. The two Schools shared the Professional Center Library. Approaching the main entrance of Worrell Center, one is met by the hidden gem of a courtyard with ping-pong and foosball tables that help students balance work and play. It is an area to strengthen ties with classmates and enjoy a sunny day before heading back into Worrell to hit the books. The building also has a convenient Sundry store where that quick, afternoon snack can be purchased. Spacious lecture halls are a feature of this building too. Wake Forest has had a tradition of excellence in the School of Law for over a century and regardless of where the School of Business is located, its graduates are much sought after by top corporations.
