David Allen Hills was a professor of psychology at Wake Forest University. Dr. Hills received his bachelor's degree in English at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, and his doctorate in psychology from the University of Iowa in Iowa City. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Germany. He joined the WFU faculty in 1960, teaching in the Department of Psychology and working in the counseling center and administration. During his 36 years at Wake Forest, Dr. Hills also worked with the Department of Neuropsychology at Bowman Gray (now Wake Forest) School of Medicine. He was also a cartoonist for many publications. He passed away on March 22, 2007. This collection includes home movie footage of the early Wake Forest campus and family life in the Faculty Drive area.
