The collection's logo

The University Archives Audio Recording Collection represents a small and select group of audio recordings from the larger record group primarily from RG11.1, Audio Recordings: Reel to Reels. This digital collection highlights some of the landmark events in the history of the University and the country at large. Noteworthy speakers and topics make up the bulk of the reels that have been selected for digitization. Focusing mainly on the 1960s through 1980s the Audio Recordings provide a glimpse of what was happening on campus during these times of tremendous change. The University Archives hopes to eventually digitizing all of the reels from RG11.1, Audio Recordings: Reel to Reels as these formats become more fragile and the content is more in demand.
