- Henry Smith Stroupe was a Wake Forest University alumnus, history professor, and dean of the Graduate School. This collection documents his work as professor and dean and contains correspondence, course materials, memorandums, notes, reports, research, studies, and writings. A small amount of personal materials, including photographs and correspondence, are also included.
- The Western Baptist Convention of North Carolina was in existence from 1845 to 1898. These records consist of the Convention historian's record book, 1877-1891; a typescript copy of Dr. Henry Stroupe's address, , and clippings about the convention, 1957-1985.
