- Wake Forest's Board of Trustees Architect's Committee seems to have begun around June 1951, formed to prepare to move the College's campus from Wake Forest, N.C., to Winston Salem; this move was often referred to as "the removal." Members of the committee included Board of Trustees members, School of Medicine men, as well as the campus architect Jens F. Larson and his son and business partner Nils Larson. This collection documents the work of Wake Forest College's Architect's Committee in preparing to move the campus. Materials include minutes, correspondence, and notes by and about the Committee. Two sets of filled out questionnaires document faculty satisfaction at both the College and School of Medicine. Letters from both pro- and anti-Tribble parties are represented in the collection, as well as the transcripts of interviews with various campus parties in December 1955 conducted by the Special Committee to Investigate the Welfare of Wake Forest College.
- Edwin Graves Wilson is Professor Emeritus of English and Provost Emeritus of Wake Forest University, as well as a former Dean of the College. This collection documents Wilson's work as a college professor and Dean of the College, as well as personal materials through 1968. Material types in the collection include clippings, correspondence, legal documents, meeting agendas and minutes, memorandums, pamphlets, programs, publications, and reports. A small amount of materials document Wilson's high school and college years, as well as his U.S. Navy service. Selected digitized materials from both Edwin G. - Dr. Harold Wayland Tribble was a scholar, professor, Baptist minister, and the tenth president of Wake Forest University. This collection contains materials from Tribble's professional and personal work, including biographical materials, correspondence, educational materials, interviews, sermons, photographs, subject files, and writings.
- Odus McCoy Mull was a lawyer, businessman, state politician, and active Wake Forest College alumnus from Shelby, North Carolina. This collection contains Mull's correspondence, subject files, and other business, legal, personal, and political papers. The materials relate to his activities and involvement with Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Baptist Hospital, Wake Forest College, and North Carolina Vocational Textile School, legal cases and the Tennessee Valley Authority, and his race for speakership of the North Carolina House of Representatives in 1941.
