- Bear Creek Baptist Church was constituted March 30, 1792, by Elders William Petty and Lazarus Whitehead. The collection contains records from Bear Creek Baptist Church. Materials in this collection include church history materials, meeting minutes, church covenants, and membership rolls.
- Dutchman's Creek Baptist Church was organized October 5, 1772, with ten constituent members. William Cook was elected pastor. This collection consists of minutes (including typescript copies of vols. 1 and 2) of church conferences from Oct. 5, 1772 to 1924, including membership rolls. Additionally, it contains copies of the Church's records in manuscript and typescript. Other church records consist of assessment lists for the pastor's salary, cemetery inscriptions, church history, and records of the Woman's Missionary Society, 1885-87.
