Biographical and Historical Note
The Peachtree Baptist Church was constituted on February 4, 1809 as Moses Meeting House. The name was changed to Peachtree in 1813. This church has been a member of Kehukee (1809-1831) and Tar River (1831-present) Baptist associations.
Collection Overview
The records of this acquisition consists of minutes of church conferences from February 4, 1809 to September 1964 [broken series]; Board of Deacons' records from 1946-1958; miscellaneous items from 1846 to 1859 and undated; photographs from 1920-1957 and undated; and newspaper clippings from 1957-1961 and undated.
