      <p>Cove Creek Baptist Church was constituted on September 13, 1799. This church has been a member of the Mountain (1799?-1841) and Three Forks (1841-present) Baptist associations.</p>

      <p>Records consist of minutes of church conferences from December 1799 to May 16, 1993, including membership rolls, and supporting documentation.</p>

      <p>Reel 1 purchased from the North Carolina State Archives, Raleigh, North Carolina. Other church records were received from Mrs. Blanch Perry, Route 2, Box 22-12, Vilas, North Carolina, May 23, 1983 and June 3, 1988; and from Mrs. Carolyn H. Adams, Clerk, P.O. Box 68, Sugar Grove, North Carolina 28679.</p>
