Subjects include the appointment of delegates to the association; the ordination of the deacons; a 1850 deed to the cemetery; financial matters; improvements andrepairs to church property; the licensing and subsequent ordination of Thomas W. Matthews (1867, 1970, 1881); the licensing of Orron Teel Edwards, 1876; the ordinations of Maloy Jordan (1862) and Lane A. Hutson (1850); the reception, discipline, and dismissal of church members; special collections for missionary purposes (1868) and the Sandy Creek Bible Society; the selection of a pastor; and committee reports and appointments.</p>
