On April 16, 1967, it dropped Mount Moriah from its name. This church has been a member of Salem [E], and Transylvania (1878-present) Baptist associations.</p> </bioghist> <acqinfo id="ref3"> <head>Source of Acquisition</head> <p>Reel 1 purchased from the North Carolina State Archives on May 4, 1970. Reel 2 items (newsletters) were gifts from the church, and they were discarded after filming.
