Biographical and Historical Note
Providence Baptist Mission held its first Sunday service on October 4, 1964. Concord First Baptist Church sponsored the formation of the mission. By August 17, 1969 the mission had moved into a new church building. They petitioned Concord First Baptist Church for a formal constitution as a separate Baptist church. This was done on October 8, 1973.
