Biographical and Historical Note
Soldier Bay Baptist Church was constituted on May 15, 1886. This church has been a member of the South Atlantic (1887-1892); Brunswick (1893-1895); Cape Fear (1895-1899); Cape Fear Columbus (1899); Brunswick (1899-1923, 1951-present) and Dock (1922-1951) Baptist associations.
Collection Overview
Records consist of a history sketch of the church, circa 1973; the church constitution and covenant, circa 1886; and minutes of church conferences from September 1926 to December 1994, including membership rolls, lists of church officers and pastors, and supporting documentation.
