Biographical and Historical Note

Reedy Creek Baptist Church, located in Warren County, was constituted as Fishing Creek on December 6, 1755. This church has been a member of the Charleston (1755-1769), Kehukee (1769-1775), Kehukee Non-Reformers (1775-1789), Kehukee (1789-1831), Tar River (1832-1958) and Cullom (1958-present) Baptist Associations.

Collection Overview

Records consist of minutes of church meetings from 1825 to 1871, including membership rolls. Reel 2 contains a list of 27 subscribers' names for pastor Lewis Moore's salary for 1789.
