Ariel Baptist Church was established in 1885 in Gates County, N.C. The church dissolved in 1918. It was a member of the Chowan Baptist Association.

Topics include appointment of delegates to association and union meetings; financial matters; reception, discipline, and dismissal of church members; selection of a pastor; special collections for state missions; committee appointments and reports; organization of a missionary society (1886); and investigation of charges against Rev.
