Biographical and Historical Note
Wood Baptist Church, located in Franklin County, N.C., was constituted October 3, 1915 by Rev. J.J. Marshall as Bethany. The church name was changed to Wood in 1916. This church has been a member of the Tar River Baptist Association since 1915.
Collection Overview
Records consist of minutes of church conferences from May 5, 1916 to August 5, 1990 [broken series] and other church records, 1934-1995. There are deacon's records, 1942-1951, and Sunday School records, 1942-1959 [broken series].
