Biographical and Historical Note
Poplar Grove was constituted May 26, 1872. This church has been a member of the Three Forks Baptist Association since 1932.
Collection Overview
Records consist of minutes of church conferences from Sept. 1898 to Jan. 10, 1993, including membership rolls, and supporting documents. Other church records include articles of faith; the church constitution; association letters; a history file; newspaper clippings; and miscellaneous items. Organizational records include Sunday School records, 1926 and 1961; Training Union records, 1945-51; and Woman's Missionary Union records, 1943-75 [broken series].
