Garland A. Hendricks (1913-2003) was a North Carolinian Baptist pastor and alumnus of Wake Forest College and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He wrote and spoke on the topic of rural churches and wrote several church histories. Biographical and Historical Note
Garland A. Hendricks (1913-2003) is an alumnus of Wake Forest College (1933), and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky. He served many rural churches in North Carolina, writing and speaking on the topic of rural churches, as well as writing several church histories. He married Leona Estelle Dabbs in 1937 and together they had three children: Mary Ada, Garland Cullom, and Frances Estelle.
