Biographical and Historical Note
Harold Tedford was the Director of the Wake Forest Theatre from 1966-1998. After graduating from Ouachita University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, with a major in theatre, Tedford continued his studies at the University of Arkansas where he earned his Master of Arts in Theatre degree, and at Louisiana State University where he completed his Ph.D. work in Theatre. Tedford worked at Southwest Texas State University before moving to Winston-Salem, N.C., in 1965 to begin his career at Wake Forest University.

The Harold Tedford Collection of Theatre Programs is comprised of local, national, and international theatre programs from a variety of venues and performances. The collection contains programs from the early 20th century all the way up to the 21st century, reflecting the popular performances of different eras in different areas of the country and the world.
