William Cook was elected pastor. On December 16, 1790, the church was reorganized as Eatons when the Flat Rock Church recorded in its minutes "that the members of the lower end of the church bounds on Dutchman's Creek be set apart as an arm of the sd. church." There were seventeen members at the constitution of the new church. Only three members were from the old Dutman's Creek. Elder William Cook, the founder and only minister of Dutchman's Creek and one of the ministers of Flat Rock in 1790 was another link with the earlier organization. Elders William Petty and Andrew Baker were the presebytery for the second organization.

Name changes: Known as Dutchman's Creek, 1772-1787.

Pastors: William Cook, 1772-circa 1790; Lazarus Whitehead, 1796-1805; Brumley Coker, 1804-1814; William Britton, 1816-1823; John Angel, 1824-1825, 1832-1833; William DOwd, 1829-1830; Rev.
