Baptist Church and Association Newsletters and Bulletins
This collection includes Baptist church and association newsletters from organizations across North Carolina in the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Newsletters disseminate important information to parishioners and to notify them of upcoming events. Materials in this collection include items on both microfilm and paper.
Biographical and Historical Note
Baptist churches often distribute newsletters, sometimes called bulletins, at weekly services to disseminate information about upcoming events to attendees, as well as to share notes that accompany the sermon and recent statistics about attendance and church finances. Regional associations also may send out regular publications about and for its members. These newsletters have been transferred from a variety of regional Baptist associations and individual Baptist churches from across the state of North Carolina.

Collection Arrangement
This collection is organized into two series: Series 1. Association newsletters and Series 2. Church newsletters and bulletins. Each series includes both microfilm and paper materials listed in alphabetical order. The letter in front of each microfilm reel number indicates its creator and content: A for association, C for Church.
