      <p>The Encore Group is a Winston-Salem group of calligraphers and bookbinders led by local artist Joyce Teta, a former Winston-Salem Artist of the Year (1996). Teta also founded Calligraphy Centre in 1984. Other artists featured in this set of materials include 14 other artists: Melrose Buchanan, Joann Buzulencia, Sheila Cheek, Anne Cowie, Susan Davis, Pat Evans, Christopher McLachlan, Patty Pape, Kerr Peltro, Adrianne Proctor, Elizabeth Simmonds, Takako Takigawa, Sandy Wagner, and Barbara Yale-Read.</p>
