Biographical and Historical Note

The Pro Humanitate Center (PHC) derived its name from the University's motto, "Pro Humanitate," which means "in service to humanity." PHC was founded in 2002 to coordinate Pathways in Ministry, a community engagement program about Wake Forest and a place for students to converse with each other and understand where they want to go in life and ministry. The Center was assisted by a Student Advisory Board interested in building community and fostering dialogue on campus. It offered a variety of forums and events related to the themes of "Pro Humanitate" and vocation. It has since moved from Tribble Hall to Wingate Hall and falls under the School of Divinity. It is now known as "Pathways in Ministry."
